Now in it’s SIXTH year, The Naked Ugly Tie Party has become an annual tradition for regulars and an exciting addition for new-comers! Basically the goal of the evening is to wear absolutely no clothing except the ugliest tie you can! That is right… the full monty minus one seriously hideous tie. Sounds weird? Sounds random? It is! Think of it like one massive game of “Truth or Dare” where everyone is struggling to get on the same dare! The party functions a little bit differently for everyone who attends. Regulars often jump right in and can strip down without hesitation. New-comers and those without much experience with casual nudity may take their time as things feel exciting and scary. For those who are new, you may not be able to eventually brave the full monty and that is okay. If you are new to this and are willing to give it half of a chance, you have earned the rights to call the shots on your own comfort level. However, we do ask that you actually give it at least half a chance... meaning that while you do not have to be in the FULL buff, some clothing does need to come off. THIS IS NOT A SEX PARTY! (See the FAQ Section) “Then why?” you ask me? For lots of reasons. It helps take us out of our comfort zone in a most fun and interesting way. It helps us face our fears about body image. It helps us get to a new level of comfort with our comrades. It gives some awesome bragging rights. And if nothing else, sometimes we just need to cut loose and do crazy things in order to make life interesting again. So with that in mind, would you dare to go bare? Hope to see ya there!
